Now YOU can lead the way for the next generation of scholars.
Presidents Club Scholars Say Thank You!
Thank you all for awarding me the Presidents Club Scholars Fund. It was very gracious of you to reinvest in the future generation … be assured that I will make the best out of this great gift I have been awarded, and I will continue to be studious and aim for the highest marks in my classes.
I will be graduating in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. The course work has been definitely demanding, but I have succeeded nonetheless. The Presidents Club Scholars Fund will certainly help me to continue to succeed, as the courses will only become more difficult in the future. I have a few classes this year that I am enjoying now and looking forward to, particularly my CAD/CAM class this spring. This scholarship is going to enable me to keep track of my goal – to finish my degree in four years – while accumulating as little debt as possible. Thank you.

Your support has been crucial to me in reaching my goal of graduating in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal music education. Academic success has always been a priority during my years at UMD, and with your help I am able to keep focused on my studies and continue my growth in becoming a great music educator.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the scholarship. Without this scholarship, I would not have been able to attend the University this year. It truly means the world to me, having already taken an entire year off due to financial stress. I deeply appreciate this opportunity to return to school and pursue my interests in Scandinavian culture.

Thank you very much for your generous donation towards my education. My family and I truly appreciate that you have helped give me the opportunity to study and explore fields offered by the University of Minnesota. Your help plays a major role in why I am fortunate enough to attend this University and further my education.
